Projects.

Things have been a little hectic as of late. The semester is ending, and I've been working on like 4 final projects which is why I haven't gotten a chance to post for the last couple weeks. Hopefully I'll produce something worth posting here, but I'm starting to have my doubts. I'm excited about making something cool over the break, I just don't know what it's going to be yet (Maybe I can finally make Dujodu TV?). There will probably be at least some minor site updates, and maybe even something bigger.

It was my birthday last week (on the 5th) so that was kind of interesting I suppose. What did I get? I got the kids in the hall season 2 DVD set, which I've almost finished watching now. I didn't have a party this year, so that's all I got.

Only a week left until I'm free of all these projects!!

Where's the snowblower?

Guess what? Our snow blower was stolen today. Pretty funny since they could have taken 3 bikes just as easily. My mom caught them in the act, and Corky saved the day with his cowering whimper. It was a large white van, and we got the license plate but I'm too lazy to go find the paper that it's written on. The van was stolen anyway, so it wouldn't do much good. The snowblower was a piece of crap, so I don't know why anyone would steal it. The oddest part about the whole thing is that it seemed like they were looking for fucking Atlantis in our garage. Everything was all moved, our cooler was open, there was twine all over the place. I guess during the exploration my mom interrupted them and they decided to grab the snowblower and leave. Funny stuff.

Bingo!

I wasn't going to admit it, but I played Bingo on Saturday. It was my Moms birthday, and she wanted me to go with her. I didn't have to pay, so I thought what the hell, I'll play Bingo. When we entered the parking structure I was already regretting my decision. I saw some pretty crazy people making their way to the casino. There was one guy who looked like he slept standing on his head, his hair was like a giant plateau. Then there were your typical bingo goers, old women with nothing better to do. There were some people with high hopes of winning. They had all their good luck charms around their little station. Overall it was pretty boring, but there was free soda and some kind of.. 'interesting' people. Anyway, the reason I'm saying all this and not denying that I played Bingo before I retired or suffered mild brain damage is because I won $125!!!! Ohhhhh yeah. A minor victory for many, but when you don't have an income every little bit helps. What am I going to do with the money? I have no idea yet. If I didn't already buy half-life 2 though, it would be on the top of my list (as it should be on yours!).

Speaking of HL2, I beat it at about 5 a.m. today. My favorite chapter was "Our Benefactors" but the entire game is just insanely good. I'm DEFINITELY going to play it again, and I sure as hell can't wait for HL3. I'm sure it's going to be another 4 years or so though. Valve likes to milk these games for all they are worth, and then some. Here are some screenshots (don't worry, they won't spoil anything).
