It's been awhile.

It's been awhile since I've updated. I don't have any excuses really, other than I'm lazy. I even have crap to add to the media section, at least 3 or 4 things. I'll be adding those over the weekend probably, I've already added one. I don't really want to add them all at once, because what would the fun in that be? They are all related to my beginner flash class. Actually I take that back, I also have some photography from my photography class I'm going to add.... so I have at LEAST 6 new things to add. Too bad half the people that visit this site have already seen like 5 of them.

I switched over to my digital video class now, so I'm going to have to eventually get the damn video section up. I've been putting it off for so long since I want to update the backend a bit... but I guess I'm going to have to either stick with this one for awhile or change it to add the video. I haven't forgotten about Dujodu TV either, I just haven't gotten around to making it.

I don't know who the John Kerry and John Edwards person is, but they have a point... you should all get out and vote, there is no reason not to. Even if you despise Bush & Kerry, you should still get out there and vote for SOMEONE. For anyone who cares, I am officially voting for Kerry.

I got an iRiver mp3 player last week, which is pretty cool. It's a 40GB version, even though I'll never use all 40GB. I have taken advantage of the large capacity to store some audio books for easy listening while at school waiting for a new class or on the bus. So far I've "read" "Against All Enemies" by Richard Clarke, "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, and half of "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them" by Al Franken. If you want to read about "the war on terror" from the point of view of the head of counter-terrorism for the Clinton administration & part of the Bush administration, pick up Against All Enemies. Richard Clark has been involved in Government since the times or Reagen. If you want to read about how annoying conservatives are (like Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, and Sean Hannity), Al Frankens book is good (so far). And if you want to think about our culture, where it's headed, and where it came from, read Ishmael... it will definitely make you think (at the very least).

Happy Halloween, if you're into that.

Nothing is happening

Not much has been going on, so I haven't really been posting anything. I just finished working on some stuff that was taking up quite a bit of time, so now I have to start working on some more stuff that will take up quite a bit of time. The new stuff should be a little more fun though... hopefully.

I ordered an awesome woot t-shirt the other day, it has a quote from me on it! I feel so special... not. Seriously though, if you aren't addicted to woot yet, go there every day until you are. Then pay them for free advertising!!

Me and my pals Bowen and Eric came up with a pretty cool idea the other day. I won't divulge any top secret info about it, but keep your open for a new project (one that I might actually make) in the near future.

I don't have any especially cool links unfortunately. I'm working on a Firefox extension right now that will give this site a constant stream of links. Sometimes useful, sometimes funny, and sometimes sad. Anything I deem worthy of showing someone will have it's place in the new linkstream section of the site..... once I make it.

Bag of crap II: Return of the pucks!!

My good pals at woot.com sent me a big bag full of their crap the other day. Actually it was a box full of their crap, but who's keeping track? You can go back a few pages to see my last Bag'o'crap purchase, complete with photos of the actual box it came in. This time I'm just going to cut to the chase, what type of crap did woot send me THIS time? Some much better crap than I got last time!!

In case you can't make it out, I got 3 Kensington Priority Pucks (that brings my grand total to 4! these are like trophys to me now), I got a watch/compass/radio, I got a 250 MB zip disc AND 250MB laptop zip drive, and an Iomega "bag" (case) that was the known item in this bag'o'crap. That thing on the top is my "Woot Charter Member" certificate. I don't know WHY I got it, but I'm sure proud to be a woot charter member. I get some free shipping with a coupon code on the back too, so that's nice. Have a closer look.

Can't wait to use it on some prime woot goods!!
