About Dujodu.com

Most people viewing this site are probably thinking "What the heck is Dujodu?" Well it's really pretty simple, Dujodu is just the online alias of Dustin DuPree (me). Why Dujodu.com? Well why not? It's short, easy to type and represents my full name (Dustin Joseph DuPree). The site itself has a couple purposes. It: A) serves as a portfolio site for me offering a place to view a lot of the things I do, B) makes me learn cool new stuff like PHP & MySQL, C) gives me a spot to put lame flash things that I make for others to view, and D) gives me something to do so I don't play video games and watch bad movies all day (not that there is anything wrong with that). I have also designed Dujodu.com so that it can be expanded in the future. By strictly using CSS for formatting I can make multiple styles or "skins" while maintaining dynamic content with ease. Eventually I would like to expand the site from being my personal portfolio to being a group portfolio with multiple authors and an expanding list of media. I also plan on writing (and gathering from friends) tutorials for the site on anything I feel other people will benefit from, including Flash, PHP, MySQL, Photoshop, and anything else worthwhile.

Well, I don't plan on writing an autobiography here and you probably don't care to read one, but here is some general information about me. I grew up and currently reside in Wauwatosa, WI (really close to Milwaukee, for those who don't know). I am 19 years old and currently going to the Milwaukee Area Technical College for a degree in Visual Communications/Computer Graphics, I am just finishing my 1st year. I started the website mid November, but didn't get around to really making it until this semester when I enrolled in a website development class. I was planning on making it anyway, but this gave me a deadline and an excuse to work on it. To contact me for one reason or another, refer to the Content page.
